What I've found is whether your hat is MAGA, pussy, tin foil or you don't like hats, we all want mostly the same things. We want to be safe, happy, & healthy; to live our lives freely how we see fit with minimal government direction, & to have compassion with an eye to budget.

Exactly however what ever laws you pass should not cost people money or put people in hardship

There will always be winners and losers with any legislation. The goal should be incremental improvements, conscious of impacts and particularly aware of the vulnerable.

Would you support a bill that would cost me 100 dollars per gun to license it amd have to renew every year cause to me thats counter productive

I don't know - from just that information, it sounds like a not great bill. I have no idea what the bill might look like. I don't say that to be unclear. I have a lot of I don't know on legislation that hasn't been created yet. I have very strong opinions in general.

But you close doors to great solutions if you only have one path to a goal. I support us creating legislation that honors responsible gun owners and makes irresponsible gun owners not gun owners. The process isn't far enough along to say it *has* to be a certain way.

I only used that as an example because i read that some where i put food on the table with my firearms and i pay enough in licensing and agent fees i just dont think that solutions is aceptable
