I just heard a snippet of @SenatorCollins on @NPR saying we need mental health services...it would be freaking super if our budget, the recently passed tax bill, or support of current healthcare law and reforms reflected that value statement.

Our Maine lawmakers have a poor track record of funding and managing mental health services too.
Preach. We could cut from our jail budget by doing 2 things... 1. Provide adequate mental health care 2. Have a free, at your own risk public drinking pavilion, because we should not be sending people to jail for week(s) for being a homeless alcoholic with no treatment options
