6. Climate change is also not a partisan issue. It is real and demonstrably occurring. We should be taking whatever reasonable (and in some cases drastic) steps to reduce, mitigate and adapt. It is both the ethical and financially prudent path forward.

I don't take any $ because I am going to be working for a paycheck. There should be no question where my salary originates. I have a job to do, compensated fairly. Fundraising every 2 years takes time from that job and prevents it being done properly.

I focus more on process and transparency than specific issues because if you send a reasonable, moderate person to do the job properly, they will give you a reasonable, moderate outcome. We have been sending people who don't know how to read a bill - that is our biggest problem.
