I think mathematically there really isn't an alternative other than to move to either a single payer or universal. The market has lacked effectiveness in cost controls. We have two problems: 1. Transitional logistics 2. Political will Fixing the second will ease the first.

We should be picking at the pain points. Creating options for people who want the transition that are choice-based like a government buyin option.

And it may very well take some of us saying ENOUGH. Enough of the petty party politics. Enough law as competitive sport. Enough trying to be *the* winner and time to worry about all of us winning.
