For starters: --Is federal tax rate on folks who make $500K a yr too low? What rate would you prefer? Also estate tax. --Do you back expanding Medicare to everyone 50+ yrs old? How would you pay for it? --Do you support a carbon tax? Kerry-Lieberman bill? --Abortion? #mepolitics

1. I do not favor the removal of the AMT. I think that structure of high income earners and company changes made in the recent tax code was a poor choice. There are ways to increase the pie so everyone gets more and we should be focusing on that net gain.

I would not have removed the estate tax. 2. I think the public buy-in option is a sensible way to address the 50+ crowd (and even before) and help ease folks coming into medicare in very poor health. Too many puzzle piece for a full answer via twitter.

I have not read the Kerry-Lieberman bill.

I do not think the government belongs in private medical decisions like terminations. We should not be restricting that medical procedure. It's not an appropriate function of government.

I think differently about the issues than you do. I don't think of tax rates in terms of each bracket should be "x". I think of the impact of each write off that is there (or not), in conjunction with rates, and overall balance.
