#mepolitics It's time to get rid of Bruce Poliquin and put someone in that seat who will work for the best interests of all Mainers. cc @TiffanyBondhttps://twitter.com/SteveCollinsSJ/status/959781357781241857 …

Do you have any idea how
@TiffanyBond would vote on major issues? I've been following#mepolitics all year and I still have no clue.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

DACA. Budget. Health Care. Medicaid. Medicare.

I've answered on these, but I am happy to again. DACA. I have not read the current proposed on it. We should absolutely be addressing immigration, including reforming the legal process so it doesn't have decades long waitlists. Violent criminals should go.

The shift in non-violent persons who do not have legal status this past year is inhumane. I have seen in my practice some really inappropriate threats be made that are not in american children's best interest. It needs to change. It compromises the legal system, witnesses, etc.

I need a more specific question to answer on budget.

Healthcare - I'm presuming you mean the structure. I predict in my lifetime we will be on some form of single-payer/universal. There really does't seem like a more mathematically viable option. To me the issue is transition plan, which is not being discussed functionally.

It has to be a more bipartisan effort, because this ripping things back and forth methodology sucks. The public buy-in is a great, choice-based path forward. There may be other ways. I tell people going into mediation to be open to a solution brought by someone you don't like.

So without knowing the exact methodology palatable enough to go forward (since I am not in those work sessions as of yet), I do think that congress should be picking off small pieces that aren't working. There are lots of those both sides agree on.

Medicaid, medicare, ss, ssdi should remain intact and expanded where appropriate. This shouldn't even be a partisan issue. Nor should CHIP.

Yeah that's not a question I asked. How about answering the questions that were actually asked?
