Ha, that is EXACTLY what I thought. My son had his first ski lesson, came back, looked me straight in the eye and said "I LOVED IT!". I thought to myself "Yay. Great. Uh Oh". And I thought summer camps/activities were pricey. Skiing for a family of 4 - YIKES!
Yesterday while I was gathering signatures with an ornery little on my back, hubby was with older little @BlackMountainME for his first ski lesson.
Turns out my oldest is a ski savant. So excited about an expensive, time-consuming new passion for a 6 year old.

Hubby was suggesting a place in Vermont that is upwards of $400/night including nothing. I had to remind him we're not that fancy.

It's why we never went skiing as children (and I don't now). People are often surprised I don't ski or snowboard, but it's just SO expensive!
