Proves you know little about the bill. Working poor had their standard deductions and child tax credit doubled. Those things, plus lower rates move their tax liability to near zero.

Temporary short term gains do not fix or compensate for the overall impact of the bill. The elimination of some deductions was just...mean, with not a whole lot of budget impact to the federal government.

It did have a purpose. Reconciliation requires the law be revenue neutral in ten years, and they weren't going to take back cuts from corporations... so working people have to pay for that $1.5 trillion dollar hole.
