      Moreover, most people realize that working with a political party is more effective. Nearly all indie and 3rd party candidates lose, some (like Nader, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein) are spoilers. All indies in the Senate caucus with a party. #mepolitics

      It is nearly impossible for a functional moderate to survive a primary from either party. Moderate is a voice that is needed in our policial discourse and no longer valued by the big 2. If you think a moderate is a spoiler, put forward a more electable candidate. #mepolitics

      Yeah, that's simply untrue, certainly in Maine. There are plenty of elected officials who are not far left or far right. #mepolitics
