Political parties courting independent voters should refrain from defining what their vote “really means”, otherwise you are making it clear from the start that you don’t actually value their voice.
I have a sneaking feeling 2018 may be the year moderates and independents rebel, putting reasonable grown ups that aren't far *anything* in office.
