The mega-wealthy are in the business of fucking all the rest of us for their own profit. College loans, insurance, home loans, #TaxScamBill, you name it. No end in sight. Not sure there's any solution besides violent revolution to take government back for the people.

We could....vote better? Run for office ourselves. Make the election process less toxic by the way we consume media so talented, functional adults would want to run.

The problem with this line of thinking is that you assume that people will vote for their best interests. It would take decades of improved education to even start getting there and even then it would take decades more to start changing the entrenched negative policies.

Maybe? I am slightly more optimistic. Picking people for elected office isn't *that* different than picking an attorney. You pick someone to represent you for things you do not know how to deal with and/or have the emotional capacity to separate from. Trust transcends education.

Have good candidates available to choose, @SouthPark are sincerely into the job for the right reasons. Make the process attract them. People will vote for them.
