Your voice/opinion certainly have a place in the conversation. Right now we have a hodge-podge of solutions, each with a benefit/detriment.

the constitution. It was written in a time where some of it is timeless, and some is difficult to apply to modern times.
Only slightly related, my family has been in the US for a long time. My great-grandmother's cousin, Charlotte, went to Oregon in a covered wagon and lived to see a man walk on the moon. Can you imagine that span of technology?
