Um, preach? I'm running as an independent. Unfortunately, we have totally needless conflict with 2 parties. If you are an independent, you are ruining it for "real" candidates...but if you don't fit the party lines, you aren't a "real" candidate.
It's how you end up with wicked pendulum swings & compromise being political suicide. At a minimum we do need a more moderate third party so the current 2 can put forth realistic policy without "working with the enemy"...because we are all Americans & it's ok to be diverse.
