Will the American left someday understand that the separation of church & State (which, by the way, is not in the Constitution) was intended to protect the people from a State sponsored religion not to prevent people in politics from ever expressing their faith?
American moderates think it's fine to have both.
However, that's wasn't my criticism of Amy's tweet. Expressing your own faith =/= telling your constituents they don't have enough of your faith, that they can change their family & sending them to your church.
