@TiffanyBond are you familiar with the Pledge of Allegiance or Declaration of Independence? What about politicians views on abortion? All these things are tied to faith.

1. Those aren't attached to a specific church. 2. The legality of abortion is a policy decision, many faiths (including those within the same faith) vary on pro-choice/pro-life, as do those who are atheist or agnostic.

Replying to @TiffanyBond @csreeves1129 and
I think it's perfectly fine to have faith & be in politics. However, coming from a position of power has responsibility. Telling your constituents they are not good & can live different then recommending a specific church? That's not good.

@TiffanyBond thanks for being thoughtful in your response. I respect your opinion, I just think differently. If I wasn't invited to a specific church, I wouldn't go, because I wouldn't know where to start and wouldn't know anyone there. I see this as using the platform for good.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
To be clear, I think it's totally fine for Amy to invite people to her church. I do not think it should be from the same account she promotes her political work, telling her constituents they can change their families, or their faith choice is bad.
