@TiffanyBond are you familiar with the Pledge of Allegiance or Declaration of Independence? What about politicians views on abortion? All these things are tied to faith.

I think it's perfectly fine to have faith & be in politics. However, coming from a position of power has responsibility. Telling your constituents they are not good & can live different then recommending a specific church? That's not good.

I keep my faith private, that's a choice.
I don't think elected officials need shy away from discussing their faith as a part of who they are, but I do think we should be sensitive about the role played in the faith of others from the same microphone as policy.
