@TiffanyBond are you familiar with the Pledge of Allegiance or Declaration of Independence? What about politicians views on abortion? All these things are tied to faith.

I keep my faith private, that's a choice. I don't think elected officials need shy away from discussing their faith as a part of who they are, but I do think we should be sensitive about the role played in the faith of others from the same microphone as policy.

@TiffanyBond thanks for being thoughtful in your response. I respect your opinion, I just think differently. If I wasn't invited to a specific church, I wouldn't go, because I wouldn't know where to start and wouldn't know anyone there. I see this as using the platform for good. -
To be clear, I think it's totally fine for Amy to invite people to her church. I do not think it should be from the same account she promotes her political work, telling her constituents they can change their families, or their faith choice is bad.
