I think that would very much depend on structure. I haven't ever been a Democrat, so I certainly cannot speak for the party. However, there are often ways to achieve seemingly opposite goals when you value priorities/outcomes over semantics or teams. #mepolitics

Throw a few nonpartisans in the mix. It's easier to agree with people who aren't the opposition. If a bill achieves goals, does it really matter who signs it? #mepolitics

Lots of things can help. Most important first step is to star finding the points of agreement to limit areas of conflict, then using that conflict to make a better outcome. There still may not be full agreement, but there would be some progress. #mepolitics
