It may also not be that substantively relevant depending on the solution. A solution that works for GOP & it happens to increase coverage/improve care = win A solution that provides universal coverage & happens to meet GOP cost/choice goals = win #mepolitics

No such solution exists. There isn't always an ooey gooey center. Sometimes politics is about choices. #mepolitics

I don't know that I agree. There are certainly trade-offs. I work in an area of law where winners & losers aren't a thing most of the time. There is almost always a solution everyone can live with that functions. #mepolitics

You won't get exactly what you want most of the time, but you can get what everyone needs to function most of the time. #mepolitics

Yeah that's not how the health care debate has been going at federal level. It isn't lack of imagination. It's that two parties have different priorities. #mepolitics

I’m sorry but the “villains” are no where near equal. The #GOP has been at the forefront of roadblocking any decent progress toward universal coverage for decades.
