Reading #mepolitics this morning, one thing is clear: liberals love high taxes and a lot of different taxes.
...or it's a bad bill. No beef with the wealthy. I don't love taxes. But a tax code overhaul should be an improvement. This one isn't.
Write better law & you will get bipartisan support.

I agree the ACA is deeply flawed. Perhaps a few moderates unconstrained by party duty in office will help you find the benefit of opposing views and common ground?

I do not believe any bill that broadly reduces taxes on Americans would get Democrat votes.

I think that would very much depend on structure. I haven't ever been a Democrat, so I certainly cannot speak for the party. However, there are often ways to achieve seemingly opposite goals when you value priorities/outcomes over semantics or teams.
