That was a bad bill. There were no exceptions for a fetus that was incompatible with life. It is inhumane to not permit parents to make end of life care decisions for their unborn, terminally ill babies. That's a private matter between parents, a doctor and God.

I'm Sorry... When I originally heard Senator Collins wouldn't support the ‘‘Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act" it really disturbed me... there's no acceptable excuses. I found myself thinking again why the hell do they support her as a Republican?

Right. Your friend was able to look to God and choose. It's a private, personal decision that the government does not belong in. Almost every single termination that bill would have covered is already for medical reasons.
