Even with ranked choice, one billionaire can basically flood money behind their favored candidate to give them name recognition and positive coverage. You still aren’t addressing the root cause of the problem. Floods of dark money due to Citizens United.

I’m not against it. I just question whether or not it’s a distraction from bigger problems like gerrymandering, dark money and lawsuits by Charles Schwab and Blackstone to restrict voting. Won’t powerful interests manipulate ranked choice by pouring money into 2-3 candidates?

I don't accept money, and the money most certainly has been poured in to 2 candidates in this race...a grotesque amount. But it gives options. Folks can change politics for free by voting for me, and it comes with no political risk.
