So, uh, the dog figured out how to wiggle through the cat door to the basement. This is an issue that will eventually self-resolve, but drama cat was not having it today.

Due to the dog acquiring the back of husband's car, he has been "forced" to buy roof-top car storage. Said storage came in a box fit for a fridge. There is much intense negotiation around this box being relocated to the living room for "box fort" and "dog training" purposes.

The next step in our pet integration saga is what I have been referring to as "cat-astrophe" Drama cat waits until I get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night (every night, thanks last pregnancy!), and the proceeds to maul my Achilles tendon with gusto. It's so fun.
