Food and housing would be better. People are living in tents. Maine is not ideal for this. There has to be a solution besides mittens

I agree, but the idea for this specific project is for folks to have emergency bags that are leave-in-car functional. I also suggest donating to food security, groups that help with housing, etc. ...and voting for folks who do more than hold a spoon for a photo op at a shelter.

Except none of you are. The tent cities are sad. Instead you go after CPP trying to dictate how we treat our pain which is not the governments business. Had to throw that in.

Given that I gave zero political power at present, I'm not really in the "none of you". I agree that it doesn't seem to happen no matter who is on deck, and that legislators also aren't handling CPP well.
