It is, which is why you should be honest that you don’t have a chance, and suggest that your voters rank Gideon 2nd (or 3rd after Savage). Otherwise, the only thing you’re doing is spoiling the race—which you seem to be ok with.

I regularly, consistently tell folks to vote for everyone they find palatable. The point of me running is for folks to see the process through the eyes of someone who isn't a millionaire and is just an ordinary citizen. We need massive reform in our governance.

The last race I ran, I got 5.7% on <$800. Not bad for someone who had never run for office before. Democracy should be something we can all participate in, not just millionaires.
