I'm still hanging onto summer, the farmer I work for had a surprise last week of corn (in October, in a drought year!) so I'm having fresh picked corn and fried green tomatoes from the end of their tomato crop for my dinners this week. Back to soup next week.
I love cutting corn off the cob to top off a stew. It's such a nice sprinkle of sweet.
