      But yes, masks and a hand sanitizer going in my emergency kit in the car now. Though, does hand sanitizer freeze? This is the year I find out! (I have a spring/summer backpack and a fall/winter one)

      This is for kits to hand out to others, but yes, keep those in the car for yourself too. Check sanitizer instructions. I would guess the high alcohol content would protect from freezing in a catastrophic way.

      This is a nice thought. I so rarely go to Portland, or anywhere with humans, but I will make a few up for when I do.

      I absolutely run into folks in need outside of Portland. There are fewer resources in rural area.
