All citizens of a country should have a say in that country. We should all be able to express disagreement with policy for the place we call home. Becoming/being a citizen doesn't mean losing rights to your opinion.

I extend grace in disagreement at nearly all times. Others having a worse experience is not a functional reason to avoid improving our own lot. We have a personal responsibility to continue to improve, which includes not telling others to find a new home.

...especially since there are people in the US who are literally starving, have no resources, have to pick between food and heat (or neither), a homelessness crisis, no functional medical care for wide swaths of our people, and law riddled with racism, misogyny, and injustice.
