Listen! PS5 has full backwards compatibility with PS4. The "top 100 PS4 games at launch" are the games that support the PS5's boost mode for enhanced performance. The rest runs through Pro Legacy Mode (PS4 Pro) and Legacy Mode (PS4)

PlayStation is preparing a show to do a tear down, BC info, more exclusives, release date and price. It was supposed to be shown early August. But will be shown after Xbox shows their hand first, late August to Early September.

PS5 Operating system requires 175GB that’s insane which leaves you with 650 GB that’s not enough for games and other media content. Expendable ssd is a must I’m waiting on confirmation on this. Let me know what you guys think? I will ask a few devs

PlayStations future of gaming had some requirements to meet, the games had to be running on a PS5, it had to be gameplay and it had to show some of the power and innovation of the next gen. The Xbox Showcase requirement was only that they had to be on Gamespass.

PlayStations next dev kit update arrives in a few weeks which will feature ‘retail mode’ so devs can see what the final set up will be. The current system is debug only with PS4 retail mode. Expect that PlayStation will show it off before it goes live to avoid leaks.
