country. We should look beyond that however, and remember that social conquests for civil rights were only peaceful until they weren't. Stonewall, baltimore riots, Rodney king are all examples of this. It's something we've forgotten in recent years, I think.

Pretty much, yes. i usually point people to Operation Xenios Zeus in Greece as my go to example of how in many cases, Neonazis, conservative gorvernments and police forces have absolutely no problem working together at all.
