Here's my "Dear Meta and Mark Zuckerberg" open letter about the state of the VR industry from my perspective.

Good video. I took a double take when I saw the βQuest Proβ in the lab with a hinge on the strap. Why-oh-why did they get rid of that?

The angst is understandable, some I agree with BUT there's some key context you couldn't know (also understandable). Everyone thinks they can solve Metas troubles, if only they could just "talk to Marc". Meta definitely needs a new way to voice the future that is in their heads.

Brilliant. Agree with everything 100%. In fact, I've been called an asshole for the last 5 years or so for saying pretty much the same stuff. Lol
Hope the heat doesn't get you as hard. β€οΈ

Thank you for sharing your feelings and thoughts and putting your name and reputation behind it. Reading all these comments make me genuinely sad that there are so many who missed the point that this is YOUR letter to and I hope they give this a serious listen.

I loved watching this video. I couldnβt agree more with literally every statement you made. I am someone who dreams about VR. I want to work in the industry because I believe in it. It worries me seeing VR in jeopardy due to the actions of Meta. Thank you for speaking up! ππ

Your video and feelings expressed are valid
But with PSVR2 in 2023 for sure, and Apple VR "maybe March 2023", it's Questmas 2.0 this year, and now there's Among Us VR and BoneLab
The *entire* VR audience before October 2020 simply doesn't compare to post-Quest-2 launch

Zuck has one year to prove that VR is worth the money he is investing in it or shareholders will ask for his head.He has little room for manoeuvre.if Google/Microsoft had bought Oculus they would have abandoned the technology 3 years ago.Zuck's bet on VR will cost him his CEO job
