    A pretty fascinating series starts on tonight--important movies with problematic content, presented uncut and uninterrupted but with contextualizing intros. A smart and reasonable way forward.

    Great. Now we can’t even watch a movie without having to study it for “problematic content”. I had hoped that TCM could just be an escape in the insanity of life in 21st century America. I was wrong. Think I’ll skip the commentary and enjoy the films.

    Name the insurance company. What a fucked-up system.

    I think I'm finally broken. Insurance company denied a CT Chest on a young woman with post-Covid syndrome. And while describing why I wanted it, I broke down in tears. It's too much. We want to do the right thing, and stupid rules keep us from being effective for our patients.
