Hope soon there's another platform that's fair with their creators, I think most of us are tired of YT

I'm honestly very surprised a proper alternative to YouTube hasn't been found/made yet with the current state of YouTube. There's been such major dissatisfaction about the platform from both the creators as well as the viewers for such a long time now.

Its inherently unprofitable, Google hasn't made money off running YouTube. They run it at a loss to essentially block competition from occupying the same space. Plus it lets them control narratives through censorship and preferential treatment.

Oh yeah and it also integrates directly with Google Adsense which is a global standard for ad networks and is very profitable. If someone else wanted to move into the YouTube space they'd also have to build their own ad network from the ground up.
