    This is makes me feel incredibly proud to be an athlete.I enjoy what I do and love meeting people along the way but to receive a letter like this, is just humbling.I remember meeting Martha,her enthusiasm,like many reminds me of why I got into the sport. I best get writing back.

    Awesome to chat freely with long time friend and colleague in my early athletic years. I pride myself on being resilient and thick skinned but my career has tested me to find my limits. I’m still here, willing to learn and completely stubborn as ever.

    Happy birthday to such a nice man who rang me last week out of the blue to congratulate me after Olympic trials. To find my number like that and make a point of reaching out means so much. He’s part of the furniture of what makes our sport great. Stunning man incredible story.
