    From 2013-2016 I investigated the U.S. drone war, identified and filmed whistleblowers like Heather L, , and traveled to to interview airstrike survivors. It's heartbreaking how relevant our film NATIONAL BIRD is today:

    Between the first reported U.S. drone strike in Afghanistan in October 2001 to the last one of this long war, almost 20 years have passed. The reporting is finally catching up. I commend the team for this excellent and important investigation.
