There are too many people, especially among the intelligentsia, who will never appreciate the things that have made this country great until after those things have been destroyed — with their help. Then, of course, it will be too late.

Liberals don't have the foresight to see that. Very dangerous thinking.

There’s no upside to bash and obstruct their President, yet they do it anyway to the detriment of America. They aren’t able to put their hurt feelings aside for the good of the country and the future of their children, so very sad.

Without context, this is basically a Barnumism or horoscope. Everyone can assume that it's obvious what things are being discussed, and undefined intelligentsia elites are easy to blame for anything.

"The good news" ... is yes, it is 'too late' for 'them' (and us because politics) in the here-and-now temporal - but the Founders believed-and-hoped irrespective of probabilities. So we should also.

What you describe for USA is exactly what happened in Venezuela. You ask to any Venezuelan that today is going through the hardship of the destruction that came after implementing the socialist policies a wish, and they will say give me the Venezuela before Chávez.
