"It is amazing how many of the intelligentsia call it ‘greed’ to want to keep what you have earned, but not greed to want to take away what somebody else has earned, and let politicians use it to buy votes."

Oh, didn't you know: The ONLY way to amass a large amount of $ was to steal it. Ergo : you don't deserve it. It's Moral to arbitrarily give it away to *anyone* even if it's not the people you "stole" it from.

Of the many, many brilliant statements from Sowell, this one is perhaps the most brilliantly insightful.

Wal-Mart has to pay at least market value for labor, just like everyone else. People are paid based on the value of their labor, not based the amount they need to live on.

Irrational and illogical but people seem to buy into it. Have you noticed how emotional arguments are replacing fact-based reasoning in the public discourse? And even given greater weight....

Which is the reason they are so angry. They are having an internal war with their human nature common sense and their indoctrination of being a liberal.

Unfortunately exploitation and fraud is tolerated by many who elect corrupt politicians and others who are duped to believe the Dems perverted intentions to debase our Country.
