Totally agree. Now we just have a bunch of robots behaving like humans. A really interesting thing would be to look at how different AI phenomenology is from ours.

1) I think there may be interesting interpretations e.g. we see how hosts operate on programmed patterns but think our diversity shows we are different.

2) but seeing the same host patterns in diff host cultures forces us to see the similarities of behavioral patterns among human cultures. Same patterns, different facades.

I hate when this happens, and it does almost every time. Another show was Heroes, started with such great potential, once it became a success, it’s as if the writers just stop trying. They no longer have anything to prove, or a budget to secure, and it shows.

Heroes was badly affected by the writer's strike IIRC...it shortened S2 by about 10 eps, and changed the direction of the show, and not in a good way
