usually someone puts in a claim saying its their content. you have to dispute that. the other party will then have to answer your dispute by keeping up the claim or giving it up. usually they keep the claim and hope you dont want to risk going further, so they get your money.

its a shitty system that trusts whoever claims your video more than you. Thats why companies like that exist, making money by hoping the youtube uploader doesnt fight back because of the risk. usually it turns into arguments over fair use of music or art.
