After some work, I’ve booted iOS 7 beta 1 on an iPhone 5c.
The 5c launched with 7.0.1, so it’s a little odd to see a firmware produced before the hardware it’s running on.

Obviously, Apple never released beta IPSW for the 5c. This device hadn’t even released yet. So, after making a custom firmware for 7.0.1 I 1. Decrypted the filesystem of b1 for the 5,1 2. Rebuilt it and added it to the ipsw. Replace the stock rootfs dmg
As for boot files, I used components from the 5c internal OTA for 7.0b3 which is conveniently being hosted by Apple from here - https://www.theiphonewiki.com/wiki/Carrier_OTA_Updates/iPhone/7.0 … Before booting, SSHRD to the device. Add files from /usr/share/firmware from a 5c ipsw to here. Also swap /usr/libexec/sandboxd
