How do I use a switchboard firmware that’s in a zip?

zip is nearly worthless and can’t be used for anything unless you can repair it, but that’s difficult.

well, if it’s a homemade custom ipsw, depending on if device is old enough you just use itunes with ireb. If it’s an internal restore bundle, you need to make it a custom firmware first

iPhone 6 requires a lot of work to boot. iPhone 5 you use idevicererestore and then tethered boot
