Here’s a short guide on how to install HomeDiags to Big Sur with the new mount issues (Warning: not beginner friendly. DM if you need help)
1. Right click on your pkg and click show package contents
2. Open each pkg that it contains by right clicking and opening once again 1/?

3. Open the Payload file in each with archive utility or your extraction tool of choice 4. Now you should have a few folders. Combine them using common sense until you have AppleInternal, Applications, Library, System, usr 5. Put them all in one folder. Note it’s location 2/?

Of course, replace YourVolume with volume name that you mounted as rw but with “\ -\ Data” added (macOS doesn’t like spaces) And replace second YourVolume with just what you mounted as rw, no spaces or data because we are copying to system now. 4/?

replace path/to/folder/of/extracted/files with just that location we got earlier command will be similar to ditto /Volumes/macOS\ -\ Data/Users/user/Documents/HomeDiagnostic/Extracted/ /Volumes/macOS 7. Continue on with that guide from earlier, then reboot! You’re done

Remove sudo in the commands you run in recovery, or you’ll get an error
