Easily modify proto’s bootargs: 1. SSH via iOS Menu 2. “diagstool bootargs —help” for usage “diagstool bootargs —print” for list of bootargs “diagstool bootargs —remove arg” to remove bootargs “diagstool bootargs —add arg” to add bootargs 3. reboot to see your changes take effect
Example: Boot to Earthbound 1. SSH via iOS Menu 2. run “diagstool bootargs —print” to check bootargs before adding 3. “diagstool bootargs —add earthbound” to add it to boot args 4. run step 2 command to check bootargs after adding. ensure that you see “earthbound” 5. run “reboot”
Example: Disable boot to Earthbound Follow steps 1 and 2 normally. You should see earthbound is there in step 2 3. run step 3 but with —remove instead of —add 4. Run step 2 and make sure you don’t see “earthbound” in args 5. run “reboot” to boot back to switchboard
