Trudeau to issue new coin commemorating decriminalizaton of gay sex. Yet he pushes Islam! They HATE gays! This is (has been) the most bizarre, ridiculous, insane almost 4 years that I’ve ever witnessed. Monty Python ish?

Took me so long to flip that concept bc growing up, when we feel down and exhausted...we are told to sleep more..and human nature of rest kicks in. Had to learn the hard way (too much time wasted), that it takes being proactive. Thanks for sharing!!

Music is really good as well. Music you associate with positive good will help so much. It’s helped me for sure.

Love that the game is on in the background!! Also, one thing I noticed w the exercise, if it helps others too, moving the spine (some boxing, yoga, stretching) - helps move the stress and trauma out - more than just straight cardio or weights!

The hardest steps for people suffering from depression and anxiety are the first couple of steps to get us out the door. Once out, at least for me, I know I did the right thing. You'll look and feel good inside and out.

Even when in bed - feeling like you can move - there are stretches and moves you can do so the stagnant energy doesn’t just sit there...and will actually prep us for having the strength to be out and about. Great thread!

And the lack of the chemicals your brain needs to process and push the body... there is so much involved. It’s why as an illness it used to drive me nuts when people would say “just get out more” or “push yourself”. It doesn’t work that way

I made it to the gym three times since I responded to your post just before New Year. Gotta get motivated to do more! Felt so much better the last time I had lost a bunch of weight! Let’s keep pushing! Going to gym in about an hour!

As a guy who’s suffered depression I can’t tell you how true that statement is on both counts. Depression robs you of the ability to get out and exercise so much

  12. Exercise is essential for those of us who suffer anxiety and depression. Exercise produces chemistry which help us balance out brains. Which help us manage the emotional pain. This easier said than done.

I remember exactly where I was... returning to on the team bus after the Broncos memorial in Swift Current. Never saw it live, but heard on CHAB tell us and Mike Keane will involved. Everyone on the bus laughed/cringed. 🇨🇦
