We might notice in meditation that we don’t have to believe our thoughts. A fearful thought doesn’t mean we have to be afraid. A sad thought doesn’t mean we have to be sad. Instead we discover thoughts come and go on their own when we don’t attach. This is a glimpse of freedom.
