We struggle when we want life to unfold faster, when we push ourselves and others to grow faster. Like being in a garden in winter yelling at the roses to bloom. Ease comes as we let go of that aggression - the arrogant belief that we know better than life how it ought to unfold.
Perhaps. When pushing is needed the question often is “how much?” How much effort is needed? How much is skillful? How much is excessive and habitual? And how much is harmful and actually counterproductive? Big hugs.
