Meditation is compromised of three simple ingredients we already know how to do: sitting, breathing, and paying attention. Many of our difficulties come from adding our own judgments and rigid requirements. Let go, relax, be very natural. Just sit, breathe, and pay attention.

No. Many great teachers I know meditate sitting normally in a chair. If that’s still painful you can lie down. Find a comfortable position, breathe, and pay attention to what it’s like to be you. Big hugs.
