Meditation can be scary. Often the first step is to acknowledge our fear with kindness. We say, "Okay I hear you. I'm scared too. But what we're doing isn't working. We're exhausted and burned out. So let's try this new thing. Let's sit for five minutes and breathe together."

I enjoy solitude and meditation. Please don't get me wrong. But I can understand the fear in others, the reluctance to TRULY know one's self. I think enlightenment is, in part, knowing, loving, accepting, the TRUE you.
