The mind thinks, that’s what it does. So in meditation it’s futile to try to clear our minds. Instead allow whatever’s there to be there, without adding or subtracting. Just sit with your own experience. You don’t have to make meditation work. Just show up, breathe, and be aware.

If you've been doing yoga for 10 years, you should have some faith in it. I've had mental health episodes. They're bad but only lasted a few years at a time. I had to go back to sciences but I'm spiritual as much as I can.
