When I travel my mind can get extra judgemental - everyone seemingly conspiring to slow me down. I practice loving kindness to return to my heart: looking at the faces around me, recognizing their humanity, I repeat silently, “May you be happy. May you be safe. May you be loved.”

I have a similar strategy. I always run into resistance about doing it but I’m always so glad when I navigate through and do it — not unlike physical exercise.
